I spent a decade as a policy Civil Servant before moving into web agencies, the emerging web exploitation functions of large corporations, and startups - in particular www.upmystreet.com.
At GfK I am resposible for developing research into web2.0 and social media 'in the wild', developing platforms which exploit the same technologies as research spaces, and applying the same technologies and behaviours *inside* the company.
I like running, going to the gym, hanging out with my two daughters, good food and wine, meditating, gardening, and driving small cars in an infuriatingly courteous manner. But most of all I like to explore the web, blog, twitter, make Facebook at people, Skype, feed, message and CONNECT.
