Hey folks of the Market Research Space, I'd love your thoughts on a new web app I've created called HashParty.
http://hashparty.com
HashParty
Its a twitter hashtag explorer that reveals the who behind tweets, exposing you to the social graph profiles. Originally made to help me see the who's behind conference attendee's.
I never seem to get conferences these days but following them on twitter is almost as good, (no hangovers and no crammed air travel) but I often wonder - who are these people?
HashParty peers in and gives me that data. This is just one step in many steps I plan to take in HashParty. I'd like to see what people here on Market Research think about the app and the possibilities they see in looking into the social graph of people online.
In some ways its a bit like demographic harvesting, granted I don't their age, sex, income but I wonder if I could squeeze some of that out in pattern analysis on the social networks they are involved in. I probably could to an extent, and then question is where can you go from there, and scale the possibilities.
